General Appearance

The Carolina Dog/ American Dingo is a medium built dog, with erect ears, a beautiful foxy face and a fish hook tail. These dogs have a short and dense coat – no smell even when wet; and little shedding. Coat colors include Red ranging from a light cream/red to medium red; Spotted - Light Cream with Brown Spots and, occasionally, Black & Tan. The Carolina Dog/ American Dingo’s average height is about 22 inches at the shoulder and average weight is 35-55lbs. They are extremely healthy and their usual Life Span is 14years - some much longer.

Temperament

The Carolina Dog/ American Dingos devoted to their human families including other family pets and try hard to please them in every way. These amazing dogs are extremely loyal, non-aggressive, low maintenance, uncannily smart, very healthy and extremely beautiful. But please remember that Carolina Dog/ American Dingos are not like man-created breeds. They must live as part of a gentle loving family, NOT in a kennel.
