General Appearance

The Labradoodle is one breeder’s attempt at creating an ideal service dog:  trainable and intelligent like a Labrador Retriever and low shedding like a Poodle.  The result is a dog which shares characteristics with both breeds.  Since this breed is still in its beginning stages, Labradoodle puppies can vary in coat types.  But they usually have a curly coat that  sheds  and smells less than that of purebred labs.

Temperament
