Gereral Appearance

The mini Aussie has all the attributes of the larger Australian Shepherd but the advantages of a smaller dog. They weigh between 15 to 30 lbs at maturity and range from under 14" for toys, and 14" to 17" for mini's. They come in coat colors of blue merle, red merle, black or red tri. Most with tan and white trim. Their eyes may be blue, brown, hazel, green, one of each, flecked or marbled.

Temperament

The disposition of the mini Aussie is calm and confident, but suspicious of strangers. They are entirely devoted to their owner and will go to great lengths to please. Ours are raised in our home with our children in a loving family atmosphere.
