General Appearance

It is the Smooth Fox Terrier from which all other Fox Terriers descend. This terrier resembles many of its more well-known cousins. It has an athletic, muscular build, stands about 15 inches tall, and weighs close to 18 pounds. Its coat is short, hard, and mostly white with black and tan markings. The Smooth Fox Terrier’s head is long, and its tail is held erect.

Temperament
