General Appearance

The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier was bred to be a versatile farm dog in Ireland. As its name implies, it has a soft, wheaten-colored coat, instead of the more common harsh, wiry coat of similar terrier breeds. This dog breed is 17 to 19 inches tall and weighs around 35 pounds.

Temperament
